Observed every year on 9 July, Argentina Independence Day commemorates the country's declaration of independence from Spain in 1816. It's one of Argentina's most cherished national celebrations, where the irresistible aroma of wood-fired asado fills the air, families and friends gather around the table, glasses are raised in celebration, and live music carries the festivities long into the evening.

To bring this tradition to Adelaide, La Boca Bar and Grill is serving a limited-edition Gran Plato de Asado from Monday 6 July to Sunday 12 July 2026.

Created to be shared, this indulgent feast showcases the very best of Argentine barbecue, featuring slow-smoked Wagyu beef brisket, 8-hour lamb shoulder asado, 6-hour pork belly asado, Morcilla blood sausage, traditional pork sausage, lamb Merguez sausage, charcoal-toasted pita bread, and La Boca's signature house-made chimichurri.

To complete the experience, enjoy a jug of Sangria (red or white), all for just $149.
