Celebrate Lunar New Year 2026 – the Year of the Horse with a dining experience designed to honour prosperity, momentum, and abundance.
For one week only, La Boca Bar and Grill Adelaide invites you to celebrate the season with a limited-edition 3-course Lunar New Year tasting menu, inspired by premium Australian produce, bold flavours, and the spirit of celebration that defines this auspicious time of year.
The Year of the Horse symbolises energy, success, forward movement, and good fortune — and this is a menu created for those who believe the new year deserves something truly worth celebrating.
Each course in our Lunar New Year menu is layered with meaning: prized abalone, with its rounded, gold-ingot-like form, symbolises wealth and abundance; dumplings, a Lunar New Year essential representing prosperity and togetherness, are reimagined the La Boca way as a sweet empanada — Argentina’s answer to the dumpling — filled with house-made pineapple marmalade inspired by Singaporean pineapple tarts, where pineapple signifies good luck and fortune. Finished with dark rum dulce de leche and mascarpone, it’s a celebration of prosperity, indulgence, and new beginnings.
