The Melbourne Cup 2026 is on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The race is always held on the first Tuesday in November at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne.
What time is the Melbourne Cup in Brisbane?
The Melbourne Cup starts at about 2pm Brisbane time. Queensland doesn't observe daylight saving, so Brisbane is one hour behind Melbourne's 3pm start. You'll see it live on screen at La Boca, Stamford Plaza Brisbane.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes. We have teen and child pricing, and children aged 5 and under dine free.
Are drinks included?
Drinks are optional. You can add a 2.5-hour beverage package when you book.
Do you offer Melbourne Cup packages in Brisbane?
Yes. Tickets include the seafood and Asado buffet, live race screening, sweeps and prizes. You can add a 2.5-hour beverage package for $49 per person.
